Which international airlines allow pregnant woman to fly?

Being pregnant doesn't stop you from doing anything; there is nothing that you can not do unless and until you are medically unable. These conditions can't stop you from travelling the world, and if you are willing to fly to another destination while pregnant, you can proceed with the travel plan. American Airlines: American Airlines allows pregnant women to fly with them, and thus, it offers specific rules and regulations regarding passenger travel.

  • If a passenger's due date falls within 4 weeks of their flight, they need a doctor's certificate verifying their health and fitness to fly. 
  • A passenger's travel is restricted within 7 days before and after the delivery date for domestic flights under 5 hours. 

JetBlue: You can travel freely with JetBlue Airlines, as the airline does not restrict passengers traveling during pregnancy. The following rules apply.

  • JetBlue allows pregnant passengers to travel without providing a doctor's certificate until the 36th week of pregnancy. 
  • However, when you are travelling after 36 weeks, you need to provide the doctor's confirmation that the passenger is fit to travel. 

Delta Air Lines: Delta Air Lines does not restrict pregnant women from flying with the airline. But there are a few requirements that you need to fulfill. Below are the steps to proceed. 

  • Delta Airline allows pregnant women to fly up to 35 weeks without restrictions and doesn't mandate a doctor's note for travel. 
  • After 32 weeks, it is recommended that you contact the doctor to ensure your safety when travelling by air. 

Cathay Pacific: If you are pregnant and travelling with Cathay Pacific, you must provide the airline with the medical certificate and meet specific requirements for single and multiple pregnancies. Other terms and conditions are as cited.

  • Pregnant passengers can generally travel without the specific medical clearance or certificate for up to 28 weeks, but after 28 weeks, a medical certificate is required for safety confirmation. 
  • For an uncomplicated single pregnancy, passengers can travel up to 36 weeks with Cathay Pacific, and for uncomplicated multiple pregnancies, passengers can travel up to 32 weeks with a medical certificate. 
  • After 36 weeks for a single pregnancy and 32 weeks for a multiple pregnancy, you can not travel without medical clearance from your doctor. 

Lufthansa: When you are pregnant, you can choose to fly with Lufthansa, as it tends to allow passengers who require a medical certificate to travel up to 36 weeks. Look at the points cited to further know about the airline's pregnancy policy. 

  • Pregnant women with uncomplicated pregnancies can fly with Lufthansa without a medical certificate until the 36th week or four weeks before the expected due date.

  • For a single pregnancy, when you are traveling up to 28 weeks, you do not have to provide a medical certificate to the airlines. In contrast, you will require a medical certificate for the 29th to 36th week of pregnancy. And you can not travel in the 37th or later week. 
  • For multiple pregnancies, you do not require a medical certificate for up to 28 weeks; thereafter, you need one for the 29th to 32nd week. However, you can not travel during the 33rd week or later. 

British Airways:
