What is the EVA Air policy for Upgrade Awards?
EVA Air applies some rules to the EVA Air upgrade award. So, before applying for an Award Upgrade on the EVA Air website, you must go through some of the essential rules and regulations that are listed below:
- If you cancel your upgraded ticket before your flight departure date, you will automatically be credited with the original valid miles or the Upgrade Certificate back to your account within 3-5 business days.
- You can only apply for an Upgrade Award on the EVA Air and UNI Air international routes with the BR or B7 flight number, and it is not applicable for charter flights and some routes offered with the code-shared partner airlines.
- If you hold an economy fare ticket, such as Y, B, M, H, or Q, you are eligible for an upgrade award to Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel/Business class with miles deducted. Also, your Electronic Upgrade Certificate is restricted to the next higher class of EVA Air.
Is an Upgrade Award applicable at the airport?
